Danielle & Dave married at a historic beach lighthouse and partied at a historic California hotel
I’ve known Danielle for about 9 years now. I remember her coming right out of grad school and working through the ranks of various defense contractors working engineering projects and managing support missions all over the world. When she finally moved to San Diego, I noticed her Facebook status change to In A Relationship. I could see from their adventures and photos that they were truly a match for each other so it was a blessing to be asked to photograph their amazing wedding.
First they wanted to do a first-look at the hotel they were getting ready at.
Then we headed to the small, romantic town of Harmony, California and walked around a bit up and down the main street. Perfect day for a perfect couple.
An hour up the coast we got to the Pierdas Blancs Lighthouse. Owned by State Parks, we got access to it and used a small stone pumphouse for the ceremony. It was VERY windy, so unfortunately we were limited as to the outdoor shots we were able to do, but the location was amazing.
Then we headed back down south and stopped at a couple random beaches for some sunset photos.
Finally at the Madonna, they partied and danced the night away.
Congrats Danielle and Dave. I hope you guys continue the adventure for many years to come!
